The guiding principle
Emancipatory pedagogy
We work on the basis of emancipatory pedagogy, that is, an education for “upright walking”, for self-determination and solidarity. For us, emancipatory education is a prerequisite for learning democratic behavior and the willingness to take responsibility and influence—in all areas of life.

That’s why participation is very important to us: participating, taking part, and shaping things yourself—this is lived every day in the children’s center and is reflected in all areas.
Participation and involvement in design and decision-making processes are encouraged and supported by us, individually based on the age and development of the children.
